Ask An Expert- How it Works
NB:  Questions pertaining to item value will not be answered through the Ask An Expert forum but can be submitted for appraisal.

This forum is designed for people wishing to find out information about anything in the world of antiques and collectibles. From storing and cleaning to identification and buying, our experts provide invaluable advice by drawing on their years of experience in their particular field.

Customers input their questions into the website, and are prompted to choose a category for their question.  This category determines the expert who will receive the question.

We allow customers to upload images, if they like, that they feel may help an expert to answer their question.

Experts will then read the question, look at the images, if any, and either answer the question or request further information from the customer.  If further information is required to answer the question, the customer will be emailed and asked to log in to the website and provide the requested information.

Customers may pay for questions individually or buy a package and save.

1 Question = 1 Credit

    1 Credit = $2.25
   5 Credits = $9.95     save 13%
 10 Credits = $18.65    save 17%
 20 Credits = $36.00    save 20 %
100 Credits = $157.50 save 30%
